WE HAVE REOPENED AFTER BUILDING WORK: SERVICES ARE BACK TO NORMAL (SEE BELOW)

Parish

Sacramental Preparation

Baptism

Baptisms take place on demand, usually though not always on Sundays: contact Fr Roy or Deacon Philip. Please give as much notice as possible because parents are required to receive some instruction prior to the celebration.

First Communion

This usually takes place annually on the 4th Sunday of June. The course of instruction starts during the preceding autumn – announcements about the arrangements for that will be made at Sunday Mass at that time.

Confirmation

This usually takes place in May or June although it depends on the availability of the Bishop to visit the parish. The course of instruction starts during the preceding autumn – announcements about these arrangements will be made at Sunday Mass at that time.

Matrimony

At least six months’ notice, preferably more, is required for essential formalities to be completed, even if getting married elsewhere; and if you are getting married abroad then it is highly recommended that you give a year’s notice. Attendance by both parties at a diocesan marriage preparation course is essential. Contact Fr Roy or Deacon Philip for more details.
