ART GROUP
The Art Group was founded in 2002 by Father Murtagh putting Maureen Coffey who was a qualified artist, in touch with Janet Adams who was a raw beginner. The idea was to start an Art Group for the parish.
Following publicity in the Parish Magazine a good number of both accomplished artists and beginners joined and flourished under the guidance of a wonderfully enthusiastic professional – Debbie Bennett.
Our 1st exhibition was in March 2003 and these are now held annually. Our next exhibition is on Saturday 6th and Sunday 7th October. It is an art group and not a class, but new members are always welcome. See the Directory for contact details.
