The Keep Fit classes are going from strength to strength with new faces coming each week, some are parishioners which is great. We are trying hard to keep ourselves fit and well, trying to combat aches and pains that rack our bodies sometimes. We have fun and laughter every week and the fitness sessions differ, consisting of some Pilates work, weights, stamina, stretch bands, floor and chair work along with general fitness.
Because of Covid we developed our skills at keeping fit via Zoom classes but now we want to get back to ‘normal’ and return to fitness sessions in the hall together. The student numbers are now quite high, so to accommodate everyone in the hall we have had to move premises to St. John’s church hall in Upper Selsdon Road.
We re-commence on 1/2/22 at 12:30-13:30 at St. John’s Church Hall; plenty of car parking spaces at the rear of the hall. Bring equipment with you, floor mat, weights, band and Pilates Ball, although I still have some if you don’t have everything. Also bring your water and take a lateral flow test to be sure you are well. Obviously do not attend if you have cold symptoms. Ventilation will be adhered to in the hall.
I look forward to seeing you return to classes at the beginning of Feb through to 5/4/22 when we will reconsider the venue.
